Hillcrest Volunteer dates 2025
Saturday, April 5, 2025
From 10am until ??? — Longtime volunteer Marcia will lead a group removing fallen limbs into a roll-off dumpster, removing aging flowers and litter, and taking care of some low limbs. There are opportunities for other projects if you are so inclined.
Saturday, May 3rd, 2025!
From 10am until ??? — Weather-permitting, Longtime volunteer Marcia will lead our second and final spring volunteer day on Saturday, May 3, 2025. Light brush clearing (hand tools), fallen limb removal, maybe some raking out in tree-filled areas, and litter and old flower removal are all possible for this date. (Limited tools are available to share. Please bring your own if possible. Please bring gloves and water. If anyone is feeling ambitious about clearing heavy brush, please email us to plan. You are welcome to use this occasion to just visit or clean your own family lot while others are around. We will have access to some records with us that day, so we can help with grave lot locations as well.
